Horizon Farms is located on Range Road 265 (Spruce Valley Road) and Highway 627 (Garden Valley Road). Horizon operates out of Sundown Ranch, just 10 minutes West of the city of Edmonton.



Services

Horizon offers a competitive riding program that caters to the Hunter/Jumper/Equitation rider and horse. Experienced coaching is available from beginner to Grand Prix levels with focus on flatwork, gymnastic exercises, fitness and preparation for the show ring.

Training is also available for young horses. Suzanne has experience bringing up horses for the hunter ring as well as the jumper ring up to an FEI level.



Boarding

The following boarding opportunities are available:

Indoor

Indoor board includes a 10'x10' box stall with rubber mats and deep bedding with shavings, turnout in a private paddock, high quality hay split up into 4 feedings daily and grain feeding twice daily. Grain, supplements and special feeds are fed when provided. Facilities include lounge area, wash rack, feed room, locker room with upstairs storage and cross ties. Lockers are available.

Outdoor

Includes outdoor group turnout in large, grass pasture or smaller group. Quality hay provided when grass is not abundant. Lockers available. Full access to facility.



Arenas

Indoor

Heated, 78' x 185' indoor arena with overlooking viewing lounge. A full show jumping course complete with boxes, brush, flowers, gates and liverpool is available for year round training and show preparation.

Outdoor

Fully fenced outdoor arena is wonderful for summer months and show preparation.



Turnout

All indoor horses have private or shared paddocks available to them.
